Painting the town...greenish
26 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

The Tower Hamlets team are smashing it in 2015! For our third run of the year we had a massive 26 runners braving the chilly conditions for this Monday’s run. We even had a newbie on the team.
This week we returned to Weavers Community Center to complete some decorating work we started for them in December. The center had three tasks for us to do – give an outside wall a splash of white paint, spruce up the entrance with some bright green stripes and add some colour to the inside with a bright border!
Once we had our instructions we split in to three teams and got stuck in. The whole task had a bit of a ’60 minute make-over’ feel to it with everyone clambering over each other, paint brushes in hand while Tom kept us in check with regular countdowns.
As always the GoodGym team did themselves proud and our hosts seemed pretty happy too, rounding the group us for a slightly paint-splattered group photo.
Painting and photo shoot done we were a little short on time for a run, so Tom (kindly) put us through our paces with some sprints, static/moving squats and stair sprints before we panted our way back to base.
