The rain picked up the pace when I was about to reach Ms.O's house. The task description said that Ms.O would expect me to call ahead and cancel the mission if it was raining, as she doesn't want to carry on with the mission if it rains.

Luckily the rain stopped after 2 minutes. Ms.O asked me to come via the side entrance and I was amazed and confused at the same time after looking at the garden. It was in pristine condition except for a few small weeds in the corner.

Ms.O said the first task was to clear the weeds in the car parking at the back entrance. Then clear the leaves and weeds in the main garden. I collected the bin bag, dustpan, and brush from Ms.O and put on my new gloves which I bought from the pound shop nearby as I forgot to bring my gloves.

The weeds were easy to pull whereas the moss underneath needs a solid scrubbing with the brush. I piled the weeds and the moss in groups to make it easy for bagging. Ms.O was impressed after cleaning one side of the parking. But she said she wanted to completely get rid of the moss if possible and handed over a new tool.

If you are someone who doesn't like the sound of nails scratching against a blackboard, or the sound of hands rubbing against the balloon, then you would have hated me as I was scratching the floor with the sharp tool and it was making quite a noise, it garnered the attention of passerby.

I'm very pleased with what you've done - Ms.O

I underestimated the task as it looked simple. But I spent 1-hour clearing and bagging the back entrance/car parking. Once that was finished I went inside and collected the dry leaves that were behind the beautiful plants which Ms.O was growing. Ms.O then offered me a cup of tea. I had a few sips and started to weed and collect dry leaves under the rose plants.

A spider decided to taste test my arms and left after having one bite

Now I have matching spider bites on both my arms, with the one I got from last week.

Ms. O's final request was to dump the soil from the pot as she wanted to fill it with new soil. It was over 90 minutes by this point. She asked if I have enough time to clear up the front side porch. I had a look at it only had like 10 dry leaves lying here and there. I decided to leave it for the wind to clear them up as the wind brought them there in the first place.

While leaving Ms.O gave me a snack bag of chocolate, crisps, and fruit. It instantly reminded me of the Ealing Soup Kitchen, where we used to make snack bags with the same items. Though I tried my best to refuse politely I collected it in the end.
