On Track to Installing a Bed Hoist
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

Mr J requires help getting in and out of bed and is due to get a track hoist installed. First, the installation company needs the room to be cleared to allow the workmen easy access to the space. Easy access for them, slightly challenging task for GoodGym.
Mr J's wife, Mrs B, was on hand to confirm what had to be moved (a TV cabinet, computer stand, a dining chair and a two seater sofa) and where it could be moved to (her already very full bedroom).
It was clear almost immediately that the sofa would have to stay where it is and be moved on the day of installation if Mrs B was to continue sleeping in her bed between now and the unknown installation date. Her room could, however, accommodate the other items (at least on a makeshift basis) following a quick 'space rationalisation and optimisation' exercise which made full use of all underutilised space.
What initially seemed like an impossible task was, in fact, completed (almost) in just over half an hour and Mrs B was pleased that what could be done had been done successfully.
