Off with their Shed!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Cherwell Collective in Oxford.

Harvest @ Home is part of the Cherwell Collective - a fantastic project tackling food poverty in North Oxford. They have 3 different elements including the community larder (Cherwell Larder), prepared meal provision (Climatarian Kitchen) and Harvest @ Home which provides the equipment and advice to help people to plant, care for, and harvest their very own produce at home.
Today 4 GoodGym volunteers answered a call for help to dismantle a shed which had been donated to the project. Suitably tooled up and layered up we turned up at St Francis CofE Primary school slightly nervous about whether we had the known-how for the task, but it turns out that a couple of electric screw drivers, a prising bar and a bit of muscle was all we needed. We walked away after an hour with the shed fully dismantled feeling rather pleased with our new skill!
The shed will be moved to Kidlington later today for it’s 2nd life storing equipment for Harvest@Home.
