Now that's a lightbulb idea 💡
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Friday, 29th of March 2024
Good Friday it was as I arrived at Ms. C's home after jogging 3.3km to get there. Just enough to get the old heart racing and leave sweatmarks on my forehead.
Ms. C was feeling slightly down as it was the 1st year anniversary of her husband's death yesterday and it was hard to take, but I gave her some comfort as I changed two lightbulbs that had been out for several weeks. Although, the task was done in five minutes. She asked me to stay to setup her new BT Hub, which had been in a box as she had upgraded to have access to Netflix. Plugging it all in didn't take long, but inputting the password three times did as the remote control was temperamental. Yet, all was done in 30 minutes and I wished Ms. C all after all that she had gone through.
