Here is the report from David:
In Tom's absence, a group of twenty two eager runners was ably led by Ax.
Our task for the evening took us to the fantastic Nomadic Community Gardens. This hidden treasure provides garden space for locals, walls for street artists and a venue for.concerts. We were tasked with moving a large pile of logs and planks and stacking them neatly in their designated storage areas. With such a large group, we had the work done in no time, meaning there was time for a quick group photo and some running drills.
We started with some Fartleks, with five reps of 30s jogging and 30s hard running.
Our leader then formed us into two lines (or Axel rows), and set us off jogging. The back of each line then sprinted to the front.
We ended by running back to the hotel for a stretch. Great work everyone!
See you next week or Thursday for a hills session in Mile End!
