Hair of the dog, anyone?
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Bradbury Fields in Liverpool.

On a deceptively cloudy Sunday morning, six GoodGymers made their way to Dovecot (many for the first time) to help out at Bradbury Fields, a charity for blind and partially sighted people.
The Maintenance Manager, Jess showed us around the lovely spacious facilities which include a beautiful sensory garden. Our task was to get rid of the weeds from both outside of the front of the building, as well as the guide dog training area around the back. Sand would be added to fill in the gaps between the tiles and hopefully prevent more weeds coming through.
As we weeded, we discovered loads of dog hair tangled up amongst the plants and even in the soil!
Jess gave us the leaf blower to clear the pulled up weeds but despite the many attempts by John and Christine, we couldn't get it started (turns out it was switched off!).
After 2 hours of back bending and squatting (our thighs will thank us later), we made a real difference and helped to create a nice welcome for staff and visitors alike.
