Narnia usual puns please!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Sunday, 24th of November 2019
Roz and Ady ventured out to NW Bristol on a bit of a drizzly afternoon for a task to build a wardrobe (or four!).
Mrs K explained the job might be a bit of a challenge and wasn't sure whether we'd be able to make a start, but we didn't want to her to have to shell out to get the shelves in.
We started with a brief tidy up of the space, and much discussion about what to do with a long roll of carpet. It couldn't go out through the window and was too tall to stand up, so we decided to shift it out into another room. And with some help from Mrs K's family, we were underlay!
Space clear, we got to work with the flatpack's thingamajigs, turny bits, and doodahs, and after a spot of Tetris, we had one outer complete and a back piece hammered on.
Nailed it!
