Much ah-choo about nothing
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Sunday, 3rd of June 2018
Would someone suffering from a serious nut allergy ever apply to work in a Nutella factory? “Of course not, silly!” you may verily cry. Patrick failed to follow basic logic or biology when signing up for this gardening mission while suffering from acute hayfever … his nose may never forgive him.
After surviving a veritable tsunami of mucus and a cacophony of sneezing, we got down to work. As an homage to MJ, with but one gardening glove each (sans rhinestones), we weeded Mrs. A’s garden, under the watchful eye of the neighbours’ uber-cute doge. Charlene, it must be said, was somewhat distracted by the pet bunny next door, even though said rabbit clearly did not have the lyrical skillz of Charlene’s own 2Pac.
We didn’t let an invasion of woodlice deter us and our host was very grateful with how tidy her garden looked post-mission. Thanks to Mrs. A’s neighbours for lending us the gardening gloves!
