Mow-ning mission in Mitcham
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 14th of April 2019
On a chilly but bright Sunday morning, Kate and Aislin arrived in Mitcham to find a very overgrown lawn that needed some mowing. A very organised Mrs N was prepared with gardening gloves and an extension lead so once we'd sussed out how the lawnmower fit together, we plugged it in and got cutting. After switching the lawnmower between us a few times - the garden was pretty long - Aislin carried on with the mowing and Kate raked up all the cuttings. Before too long the compost bin was full of grass cuttings, the lawn looked a lot tidier, and the sun came out to top it off! Mrs N seemed pleased with the work and hopefully will enjoy her newly mown garden.
