"Moving the fer….the ver…wait what’s the plant called!?"
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Sunday, 28th of October 2018
Despite some minor navigation issues, Tim and I arrived at Mrs R's house to help with her garden; we needed to remove a few weeds, move a large plant and do some general tidying.
After clearing the weeds, we undertook the challenging task of digging up and moving a large plant to a nearby table so Mrs R could maintain it easier without having to bend down. We both kept forgetting the name of the plant so asked Mrs R when we next saw her...
“Oh I never know the name of the plants”
We made light work of the garden and Tim even had enough time to assist Mrs R with working her pressure cooker and washing machine. Nothing could stop us...except working out how to open the gate after the task so we could actually leave!
