More litter than we barge-ined for!
0 GoodGymers made their way to help the Canal and Rivers Trust in Westminster.

After meeting at the Canal and River Trust HQ in the early evening, nine plogtastic volunteers picked up litter along the towpath. Everyone either walked, jogged or cycled to the event.
Despite dark clouds all evening, only a few drops of rain were felt all evening – pheww! We all trawled a wide area of Little Venice to safely retrieve as much waste as possible in 45 minutes. Many of the team were new to GoodGym but everyone enjoyed the evening and some even said that they would love to come back and help again! Over 16kg of waste was retrieved from the canal side, mostly plastic, cigarette buts and metal. We brought a weighing scales so that we could weigh the waste as part of the Global Clean Up initiative.
Thank you to our wonderful ploggers for all their help cleaning the canal!
