Meat Week
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Oxford Mutual Aid in Oxford.
- Wednesday, 9th of June 2021

Every week the stock is different at the Oxford Mutual Aid food distribution hall, which keeps us on our toes and ensures variety for the people OMA supports. This week was definitely meat week, with 4 crates of beef mince and duck pieces arriving at 4:30pm and the fridges and freezers already stuffed with bacon, sausages, chicken pieces, and more beef mince! Not a vegetarian (or halal)? Your food parcel will certainly include meat this week!
As always, we finished the regular Wednesday parcel list, packed up the Emergency food requests, took in deliveries, restocked shelves, froze down as much mince as we could fit in the freezers, and my personal favourite job; took out the extremely icky food waste.
Same again next week team (with hopefully fewer mouldy tomatoes)!
