If it was a competition for who could wear the most clothes, GoodGym would have won today. No GG tees in sight as they were hidden under multiple layers. Wilson was very impressed by the number and size of bobble hats on display.
We were wrapped up ready for our registration duties in a wind tunnel 😂 (except Bleachy who had no socks on 🥶) and then marshalling or finish line medal distribution afterwards.
The 5 mile race went well with the winner finishing in a lightening fast (and definitely not wind assisted) 24:03 with the final (676th) finisher crossing the line in 1:22:45.
We got a big thank you from the organisers including some Christmas goodies that will be raffled off at our quiz on 20th.
