Making light of the situation
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 17th of October 2020
Southmead Development Trust asked if we could help the lovely Mrs F replace a lightbulb in her kitchen so she could cook again safely with the nights drawing in.
Two out of the three spotlights in the kitchen weren’t working, but luckily Mrs F had a couple of spare bulbs and a nifty little step ladder and after a bit of fiddling about all three bulbs were working again.
We also discovered that there were a couple of other spotlights in the kitchen/dining area that weren’t working, but found another spare bulb that worked and so replaced that too, leaving just one bulb that will need to be replaced another day.
Mrs F was pleased with the result and very grateful that GoodGym was on hand, even after finding out that I am not an electrician!
