Lopping, chopping, stopping and chatting
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Foxwood Residents Association and Foxwood Residents Association in York.
- Monday, 5th of April 2021
- Led by York runner
We were met at Foxwood Park by the lovely Neil who was ready with a variety of tools. Our task was to chop down an elder (not John B!!) tree that was overhanging a path around the perimeter of the park. We lopped, chopped and chatted as we worked and soon had an impressive collection of 7 habitat piles. Michal rewarded us with some great Polish Easter cheesecake. We helped Neil get all the tools back to the community centre across the road and made our way home.
