Ealing

Mission

Locks, shop and two metres social distancing

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

Mrs S needed some essentials, and I needed a long run!

A route along the canal on a sunny day was lovely, apart from the two abreast cyclists (shakes fist angrily!). Taking in Hanwell locks and clocking up 10km in total (thankfully downhill for the way back!)

When I reached Mrs S, after a quick call to her niece to translate a few bits, I went and queued at the local Tesco. This is fast becoming the norm! Some people are still not quite there with distancing, but I did as best I could to dodge around them!

Good Friday!

With all items on Mrs S' list found, I dropped them at her door and headed back to the canal for the downhill route home! Legs stretched, Mrs S topped up on tea bags and loo roll - a Good Friday indeed!
