This was a rewarding morning. The team collected bags of rubbish, recycling and heaps of glass. Lovely team to work and chat to. - Julie
A big welcome to Julie and her first community mission. It was great to see everybody ansd Vicki was very happy to see jenny & Brian in the flesh and not on a Zoom. Thanks to Rachel for the last minute sign-up who arrived by bike. Hope you got a good workout.
We collected about eight bags of rubbish from the Park and Ride/Tipner foreshore. Recycling rubbish came home with John & Vicki, while general waste was take home by Jenny & Brian.
We had created a couple of bottle caches to collect on our way back to the start. Weirdly, they had all disappeared and we can only that a member of the public had deposited them in the bottle bank around the corner.
Some notable finds were some old rope, a baseball cap, a slipper & insole and a pair of Kylie's old hot pants. We came to the conclusion that they had been removed intentionally after Brian discover a used condom, glad to see that safety was been adhered to. - John
