Lidl queuing time for Tesco

Two shops for one shopping list with twelve items. I called Mrs. S when I was waiting in the queue to get into Lidl as I noted on the email that I had to call her to ask for her shopping list. I took it all down:

• 4 pints of skimmed milk
• 2x Chicken thighs
• 2x large beef mince meat
• 1x back bacon
• 1x iceberg lettuce
• 1x pack of red peppers
• 1x pack of Pink Lady apples
• 1x pack of sweet oranges
• 1x pack of leeks
• 1x pack of bananas
• 5x avocados
• Dozen eggs

However, Lidl had only half of the things and the heavy half. I brought the milk, meat, Bananas, oranges and the iceberg lettuce. Since the items were heavy and the fact I had two bags and no more room for any other items I want to find in another store, I made my way to Mrs. S home. Once there, I introduced myself, gave her the first batch of shopping and told her I would run to the larger Tesco near Surrey Quays (less than a mile away) for the remaining items. She was thankful that I was going out of my way to do this. With no queue outside Tesco, I went straight in took the remaining items on the list (part from the eggs) within 2 minutes as I was a man on a mission. Literally.

Ran back with the items in a yellow plastic bag and handed over the items to Mrs. S. She handed over a filled out cheque and an envelope with a stamp already on it. It was very sweet of her to reconsider all of this as she told me she couldn't go out to even post a letter with a cheque to GoodGym. Bless her. She was very generous and I hope we could assist her in the future when she needs us.

On the way back home, I bumped into Emma and Civ, who were out for an evening stroll around their local park. After a brief chat, I had to head back as supper was waiting for me!
