Here's what Miss S of SL4 had to say about the mission:
"I just wanted to say thank you for Shelia and Julie's visit on Monday afternoon. We all worked very hard and although I still haven't finished my garden it was a pleasure to meet them. We took photos and I put titles to them. What a wonderful service you give our community. Warmest wishes and regards, Miss S. 🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷🪻🪴🪷🏵 "
Sheila made a return visit to Miss S and her tiny courtyard garden, this time accompanied by Juli. She might have only a small area, but it is absolutely packed full of plants and pots. This garden is vital for Miss S's mental health and well-being, and she needed help sorting out her containers and pots, emptying out any old plants, and planting up with plants that had survived the winter, plus some bargain purchases she had made. Juli and Sheila spent a happy 90 minutes putting their creative skills to the test, and clearing out the area under the stairs so she can sit out in the summer. Miss S was delighted with the result, and very appreciative of our efforts. She made us a cup of tea, and one of the mugs said 'Leave a Little Sparkle Wherever You Go', and she said that was just what we had done. Well Miss S, you added a little sparkle to our day, too!
