Leanne Down Some Plants

For the past few weeks we have transformed this overgrown jungle into something which resembles an allotment patch. But today we took it one step further thanks to Leanne and actually planted something. On what was going to be a task to just maintain what we had done so far and keep any weeds at bay, Leanne had some other ideas and bought down a big bag of compost, along with some young tomato, cabbage and carrot plants. Whilst the rest of us cleared some of the returning weeds from the rest of the allotment and turned over some of the other beds, Leanne turned over a bed, mixed in some compost and planted the plants she bought along. It’s early days but hopefully with a bit of care and regular watering over the next few weeks these plants will grow and deliver some produce for the Sanctus Café. Thanks Leanne!
