All 27 of us made the 2.5 mile uphill run to the Portico Gallery. We were met by John, one of our favourite GoodGym characters. We were there to clean tables. But first, they had to be sorted into categories A, B and C. A needed a clean. B needed a real clean. C had no legs and therefore could not be classed as tables anymore.
There were lights, there were rubber gloves, there were buckets and a large bottle of bleach. Needing no further instruction, we were off. Some people took to organising table stations, where a cleaning conveyor belt continued until each one was scrubbed clean and ready for the West Norwood Big Feast.
'I really love tables. Especially cleaning them' said John Hunter
Once done, we ran off down the hill and made it home out of breath and happy to have had such good clean fun. Noone got bleach in their eyes AND we all got to meet Judy's daughter, who is obviously brilliant. Cos she is Judy's daughter. Good work team.
