Kermit-ted to finding an Unfrogettable Pun
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the Marston Forest Garden in Oxford.

You might be forgiven for thinking this is a tenuous report title for a morning at Marston Forest Garden, but if I told you that we were digging a pond maybe it's less of a stretch. There were anecdotes of Lido performances of Sondheim's The Frogs Musical too, so it's a toadally good match.
9 GoodGymers hopped out of bed early enough on Sunday morning to get to Marston Forest Garden for a 10am start. Richard, Rhian and Antony from MFG divided us up between 3 tasks; digging a new pond, rooting out brambles, and breaking up and laying down cardboard to suppress weeds.
With rain predicted at 11am we got working quickly to beat the bad weather, but it turns out we needn't have worried as we stayed dry through-out - a definite win these days.
With US politics and lockdown rule speculation high on our list of conversation topics, it was good to get side tracked by doughnut chat, Sondheim musicals, and ski ballet.
2 hours work got the pond digging well-progressed, and most of the brambley area cleared and covered. Hopefully we can be back again before too long!
Congratulations Annabel on your 50th Good Deed!
