Prior to my stay in Wiltshire my Airbnb hosts (themselves keen parkrunners) offered to sign me up to help at King George V Junior parkrun in Melksham. It was much better weather than we had had the day before in Durlston Country Park. I helped set up the 2km course and my principal role was giving out finish tokens. That's not as easy as it looks when you've got 62 young runners all coming through in rapid succession! It was a really nice park at King George V playing fields and everyone was very friendly. One day I will be back on a Saturday to do the 5km parkrun. I don't think my 2km will be completed in 07:33 though, like today's first finisher. That's a good 1.5km for me!
