Last night, every single person rocked. Two tasks. Both done most excellently.
A smaller group headed a mere 500m up the road to Olive's house. Olive has been unable to look after her garden as she has got older and it's become overgrown and oppressive. It was essentially a jungle. It was heads down, bums up for some serious pruning and bagging of the trees and bushes that had taken over. The difference made in an hour was amazing. More work to do though and we'd like to send people over the next few weeks to do a little bit more each time so that come the spring, Olive can sit out in her garden and enjoy it.
The rest of the group sprinted 2.5 miles back down to the Portico gallery. They did some dead good clearing ahead of the community festival this weekend... they came back excitable and talking of mushroom tea. Five miles done fast though. Great work.
