Ivy removin' and moss out the groovin'.
4 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Saturday, 20th of January 2018
Four of us met up at Miss L's for a 3rd GG visit! Newly mission verified Ellie was excited to do her first "official" mission and after a chat with Miss L we set to work removing some weeds and dead growth from the front garden. We moved round to the back and Ellie set to work sweeping leaves out of the garage. Barbara trimmed back the ivy that had crept its way inside the garage and Paul valiantly wrestled with the ivy on the outside, pulling it back through and giving it a trim. We dug a lot of weeds and moss out of the patio, Ellie rearranged the meerkats hiding in the border, we swept up and almost filled a green bin after just over an hour. Miss L was very grateful for our work and introduced us to her neighbour who might also be needing GoodGym soon! All 4 of us set off for home in different directions, clocking up some extra kms across York.
