Ivy got a creeping suspicion this is going to be a big job
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Saturday, 6th of July 2019
Mel and Paul ran to help Mrs M reclaim her garden from an ivy infestation. Mrs M is a keen gardener who has found she is no longer able to get out in her garden for long enough to keep it all in check. Creeping ivy from next door had spread and was starting to take over. We quickly got to work pulling out the pesky plants (and a few hidden prickly things we found along the way) and before too long we had filled a green bin and created an extra pile of garden waste, reclaiming the borders from the clutches of the ivy. After a quick chat and a much appreciated drink of water, Mrs M thanked us and we were on our way after a good job done!
