It's rubbish that there's litter

This evening's group run was a litter pick, but to get ourselves warmed up we decided to do a bit of a run first. From pier to pier and up some hills to boot! When we got to Boscombe pier we did some leg work on some steps and then decided to do some Indian File running on the way back to Bournemouth pier. By this time we were nicely warmed up and ready to hit some rubbish hot spots.....
Some of the more interesting items we managed to find were
Pair of trousers
Knife
Lego
Tennis Ball
Pokemon Ball
Socks
And loads of cans and plastic wrappers!
Heather and Abi also managed to have MASSIVE cuts on their legs from the cut bramble on the meadow....they were super grown up about it though and totally didn't make a big deal about it and rejected all first aid offers... After almost filling up two bags we ran out of time and made our way back via the Harvester steps of pain...rounding off a great leg and litter session! Next week is Daniela's last group run with us....which is super sad...and we're having a drink after the group run to celebrate her. Please come along even if you can't make it to the run, or haven't been to the run for a while. Everyone's welcome. Plus it's Foodbank time next week!
Have a great week everyone!
