Mission

It’s Raining but We’re Not Mowning

3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

It was wet, it was cold, it was miserable, none of us even like tea so couldn’t accept the kind offer of a warming cuppa.

Even so, three hardy souls cracked on with enthusiasm, aiming to make a visible dent in a lovely, massive garden. We mowed, we cut back, we cleared paths and we tidied rubbish. After a solid hour and a half, this beautiful space turned into a a slightly tidier and more tranquil space.

Despite the resultant tranquility, things that might keep us awake this evening... Emmet and his curvaceous path-trimming; Emma and Mary-Anne and their not-so-compact lawnmower packing (despite some frantic googling of instructional videos).
