Leaf it out
Tonight’s task was to clear the main paths around the church from leaves and weeds. With the autumnal feel in the air there were a lot of leaves so everyone got stuck in. Weed a lot to do!
It was unbeleafable we filled 2 large wheel barrows....... we don’t moss about (well not all the time). Naomi had a wheely good time taking the leaves to the compost heap on wheel barrow duty. Sandy did a sweeping job of clearing the hedge, she was a sweeping beauty. Pam on form taking on the steps rocky style, she stepped it up, she’s always on fire. Manjit was in with the wriggling worms, she doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty. Harsha raking it in…. less leaves… less problems.
Team work makes our dream work. We did our good seed for the day and enjoyed a quick pineapple snack before heading home in the dark.
Next week we will need our head torches as the clocks turn back. However Goodgym Slough are always bright and cheery - this cold, dark weather won’t stop us. Don’t stop us now, we're having such a good time, we're having a ball.

Well done ladies. We've been using head torches for a few weeks in Camden - is Slough in a different time zone?
Hahah...Sunshine Slough...though as of next week we go into Smoggy Slough
