If only every day was a Cake day.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Wednesday, 15th of July 2020
It was Mrs H's birthday at the weekend and she'd saved me a piece of cake...could my day (in fact any day) possibly get any better...
Dictation of the now largely familiar list took place again in the front room, Morrisons was pleasantly quiet for a Wednesday lunchtime with lots of opportunity for social distancing and I was able to fill the trolley with all that Mrs H and her son asked for. Back down the hill to Mrs H's (no rain this week), drop off the shopping and have a good chat about her plans for the week and beyond.
As always Mrs H was on good form, although clearly not particularly looking forward to having to venture to her local hospital tomorrow - hope it all goes well, am sure will find out more at the next visit. The cake though was excellent...

That was such a good cake picture, it has motivated me to get a piece of cake this afternoon (not that much motivation is needed!) Nice work Nick!
