THE RETURN OF GROUP RUNS IN TRAFFORD!
Last night we were overjoyed to be back running the streets of Trafford safely on our first group run for a very long time.
We met at St Ms as usual (had a chat with Helen the Manager and saw Red the dog bouncing all over) and then headed off after our warmup at a steady clip to Longford.
Once there brandishing our brand new litter pickers, we set about tidying up the park, getting some more steps in and chatting amongst ourselves and to members of the public who were really pleased to see us in action.
Weirdest finds were a sad looking football and a teeny tiny plastic spidey with a rather sinister glare.
Shout out to Althea who although has been attending various missions over the past 6 months or so, had not yet been on a group run! Congrats on your first!
Well done to us!
Our next run is to help breathe some life back into a residents' Community garden in Stretford. Head over to our home page and remember, if you're attending please click to sign up!
