On a beautiful spring evening a brave crowd of GoodGym runners managed to pull themselves away from the pub and the park to come running with GoodGym.
We met at Roll for the Soul and after a quick warm up set off on our run. This week we had two tasks, first to help promote Mayfest by putting their flyers in bars and cafes along our route. This turned the run into a series of intervals, running fast between the different venues, dropping off some flyers and then heading to the next venue.
The second task was to help the Bemmie Patchwork with their Orchard behind Tesco on North Street. This involved fixing up the fences for the trees, planting some sunflower seeds, trimming back the lemon balm plants and weeding around the lavender bushes. It was great to help support this amazing community asset.
We finished off with a bit more flyering on North Street and then headed back to Roll for the Soul, with Sarah setting the pace.
