Heating The Town With Our Kinky Hose
9 GoodGymers made their way 3.1km to help the Friends of Tottenham Green in Haringey.

9 cool Goodgymmers proved that they could handle the heat by running under the Met's Amber Warnings to Tottenham Green to lend the Friends a hand in watering the grounds. Bosh.
Kudos Corner
Very few things are certain in life but you could bet your house that this superstar will arrive to your task wearing a smile, mischievous intentions, and a preternatural flair for timekeeping - and now, our very own Nurjehan, will also be wearing the 200 Deed Club Badge (patent pending) wherever she saunters to in her travels. You rock - Boom!
And a big shout to all-round badass and BadGym™ extraordinaire Julie who is celebrating her birthday this weekend (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!) by embarking upon the kind of challenge that gives Gramps the heebie-jeebies. Smash it, Julie - and stay hydrated. We'll be cheering you on.
Thirsty On Main (Road)
Let's not beat around the bush here - it's freaking muggy out there. Don't get me wrong, some of us do come from the tropics and are partial to a bit of heat but our lovely London is not equipped to deal with a week of nearly thirties.
Case in point, poor Tottenham Green. The grounds were thistier than Gramps during Dry January and were in need of a bit of help. Laura from the Friends group activated the massive GGH-shaped bat signal and we all made our way there to lend a hand.
We started by unrolling a few hoses and sorting out the kinks. While the wet bandits team was watering the grounds, a second group did a thorough litter picks. We lost count of how many bags we collected in the end.
We even found some time at the end of the task to trim the buddleia at the back of the church and share some hot GG goss. 😅
Gramps then dragged everyone over to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre for some photos and we all shared some lovely vegan treats for Nurj's Big Fat 200th - even if some rather risque innuendo left Gramps without any appetite for the hard-yet-soft millionaire shortbread slices.
Anyway, on to other pressing issues.... IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY NEXT WEEK! COME!
Peace!

I love the photo on this run report. I guess I'm a little biased. Thank you for a sizzling, hot celebration of Good Gym, Good Deeds. We certainly did need cooling off. Naughty but very nice.
