Heaps of fitness
12 GoodGymers made their way 10.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

On a very cold Monday night 11 GoodGym runners faced down 16 tonnes of fitness challenge and (very almost) tackled it!
With a 5km run down to our task in Poplar a group lead by Bryon headed out early from the Town Hall Hotel to make a start on the task, the remaining 5 runners headed down just after 7pm. When arriving at Mayflower School we face 16 tonnes of compost that needed moving via buckets, wheelbarrows and bags to the school garden (via the main school corridors itself) on the other side of the school.
It was one of those tasks that was a genuine, hard physical work out for all involved and everyone really showed loads of commitment staying way beyond the time we normally would! Half the group headed back at 8.15pm with the remaining group staying until 8.40 before tackling the 5km run back to base.
An epic challenge and we moved over 12 of the 16 tonnes which was an incredible effort.
Well done all!
