Haircuts for hedges and a trim round the edges
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Tuesday, 29th of September 2020
Here's what Mrs J of BS13 had to say about the mission:
A message from the referrer - 'A HUGE thank you to Phill and Mel for the brilliant job they did. Mr and Mrs M's daughter K said you were both 'amazing', and wanted me to pass on her thanks and say what a lovely thing it is that you do. K is a sandwich carer to both elderly parents and an autistic son, so your help was really invaluable.'
Mel and I brought sunshine and smiles to the gardens of Mr & Mrs M this unexpectedly glorious Tuesday afternoon.
They wanted the pathways clear of brambles, weeds, and plants so getting in and around the house wasn't a bother. There was also a hedgerow who was going through a rebellious phase and needed a good old trim down to size.
Between us we gave a burst of new life to the garden, and had a lovely chat too.
Thanks for letting us come round and we hope they enjoy the fresh new look!
