Hail 'Caesar' Salad. Helping at St. George The Martyr
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Southwark.
- Wednesday, 20th of October 2021
- Led by Michael Welsh
Today, I went to St. George The Martyr Church in Borough to help re-stock their shelves for their supermarket which is open on Thursday. The delivery from Waitrose and Tesco had already arrived by the time I arrived, so I along with three other volunteers started to stock the shelves ready the supermarket. There was plenty of fresh vegetables that had arrived in this delivery along with a large number of chicken caesar salads which I set about placing in the fridge along with green beans, asparagus, and Brussel sprouts. We managed to shelve all the items delivered and completed the task within two hours.

Cheers Michael for helping out at this Food Cooperative. Sorry if you were the only one from GoodGym today, but at least you had the company of three other volunteers. I'll be doing this community mission on Friday :)
Hi Sam, thanks for the message. No problem, I really enjoyed this task. The other volunteers were grateful for the extra help as the delivery they received this week was larger than usual.
Nice one Michael!! And great pun 👌
Thanks Mark.😎
