Grey-haired, Green-fingered
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Saturday, 6th of April 2019
2 distinguished GG Yorkies ran/cycled to help Mrs H plant some new flowers in her front garden.
Leanne soon started digging the superfluous shoots from other plants to makes space for the lovely new crop of flowers, whilst Ed spent his time getting as many gardening tips from Mrs H as he could in order to tackle his own mess of a garden later that day.
It didn't take long for Leanne and Ed to get all of the new flowers bedded in, include one particularly floppy one which we both probably struggled not to make an innuendo out of in front of Mrs H.
A quick tidy up and we were both off despite the very kind offer of a cup of tea. Mrs H was lovely so hopefully we'll be back one day soon to help with her other garden aspirations
