We had a lovely sunny Saturday morning at the northern slopes, perfect weather for our usual tasks about the place. Though there was a change of scenery as we were working at the bottom of the slopes this time.

As we've been been coming here for over a year now, I have scrapped the barrel of clear scything puns - help!

Caroline and her lad went about litter picking, making the place look significantly cleaner, while Jason took to loppering and tidying a small pathway on the side.

Len and I returned to a spot we scythed clear last year, but had overgrown when we focused our efforts on the top side of the slopes. The plan is to make a new path connecting to Nover's Hill side of the slopes, and eventually turning the whole slopes into a wildflower meadow.

Next time we'll be elsewhere on the slopes (close to kingswear road) - waiting on the location, keep an eye on the site!
