Grabbing the Horse by its tail
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Sunday, 28th of July 2019
*disclaimer - no horses were harmed in the completion of this deed.
Two every so slightly hot and bothered GG Yorkies tackled a remarkably overgrown veg patch, in Nikki's case with her bare hands (she forgot her gloves)
The incredibly accomodating Mr S was on hand to move the huge piles of weeds into the green bin whilst Nikki and Ed battled on.
Devoid of inspiration for puns we thought we'd find out what the bulk of the weeds we were removing were called. After a quick check on a very fancy plant-recognition app we soon learned that they were called Horse Tails and a pun was born.
We forgot to pose for a selfie at the end but if we hadn't forgot we would have made sure to include the boxes of chocs Mr S gave us to show his thanks. If you're lucky we might bring them along to the Monday night group run. Good times!!
