Got IT Sorted!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Friday, 26th of May 2023
On a bright, sunny afternoon, I jumped on my bike and headed off to visit Mr T. An hour later, I arrived to find Mr T and his cat, Bobby waiting to greet me.
Although Mr T has had some success ordering his shopping online, he had recently met a few obstacles that had caused him some anxiety.
As a result, he had written a list for me to work through with him.
As we worked through the problems, Mr T shared some amazing memories of his time as a 15 year old pantry boy on board a pilot boat and his various adventures at sea.
We also chatted about his family, and the fact that he had met most of our Liverpool mission team...'the Scottish one' (Heetu), 'the Irish one' (Eimear), 'the one who did all of the work' (Bekah), and 'the one who was a lawyer' (Mat) 😄
Before we knew it, two hours had passed, and the list of tasks was completed.
Mr T was very grateful for the help, and was feeling more confident about using the online shopping app and emails, has a new background image on his laptop, a big, yellow cursor that makes it much easier to see, has a new mouse, and is now able to explore maps on his pc.

Nice one Pauline - looks like Bobby was keeping an eye on you!!
Brilliant 👏
I wouldn't trust Bobby to supervise Mr T's online shopping, he has clearly been sneaking extra cat food onto the order! Well done Pauline.
Thanks folks x
