2 additional Litter picks / plastic surveys took place this weekend:
1. Microplastics at Prinsted
Judy, Val and her grandson Cameron (3rd generation GoodGymer of the future!) tackled the beach at Prinsted finding lots of small plastic including lots that had been flushed into the sewers and out into the sea during the storm overflows... Lovely!
2. Macroplastics and a posh glove at Rudmore
John and Vicki collected a bag of general rubbish & a bag of recycling- along with a lovely glove in Stamshaw. The other half of the lonely sock pair in the area still remains at large.
Hopefully we've managed to give the uni plenty of data for their first city wide plastic survey.
