Going Potty In Potternewton Park
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Leeds.
- Saturday, 27th of June 2020
- Led by Elizabeth Stephensen-Payne
12 lovely volunteers got together (Socially Distancing Of Course) and litter picked the wonderful Leeds gem of a green space Potternewton Park. This is part of a local initiative to help care for this local park in conjunction with Leeds Council. We ended the session by expert tossing of filled garbage bags into a skip over the parks office fence (this was by pre arrangement). I will be a monthly event now and hopefully we will add a social element to it when lockdown restrictions ease.
