On the hottest day of the year so far 6 GGers went to help Slough Foodbank with an indoor cleaning task.
We all know how hard the Foodbank team have worked (and continue to work) during these tough times, so helping them keep their office and warehouse clean was the least we could do...
But lett-uce tell you ... it was no dodle! Actually, it was lovely! In less than one hour we had both areas looking spic and span... We've always been great at thyme management but today was a record even for us.
Definately no loafing around... just pure hard work!
Sara and Jenny were on sweeping duty
Sandy and Gauri on mopping
I was dust buster and Pam had Henry.
Sue, from Foodbank was s-peach-less ( and very grateful for our help).
