Giving new life to one use plastics and saving lives
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Homeless Street Angels in Leeds.
- Saturday, 27th of February 2021
- Led by Gemma
This weekend, Gemma and Tom worked through more of the crisp packets, cutting, washing and ironing them into stips of 4. This community mission is about giving new life to one use plastics and saving lives. Just magic ๐. There are others in Leeds involved in the project and we are working with other charities and organisations across Leeds to distribute the items and collect the crisp packets.
If you would like to get involved and help us to recycle crisp packets to make survival items for people experiencing homelessness a year, please get in touch or sign up to our repeat community mission next weekend!
People helping people thatโs what life is all about ๐
