#GGSuperSaturday Beauty is in the eye of the BeerHolder

We drew to the conclusion that beer has a lot to answer for especi-Alley in Farm Lane alleyway.
The long and short of it is that a lot of beer is consumed here... but fear not as a few merry souls were up for the National Good Day of Deeds to celebrate #GG10 and #GGSuperSaturday!
Not only did 8 of us give up our Saturday ly ins for a litter pick task but Jen also did parkrun before coming to help on the task.
Task owner, Vinay, was on hand to give us the super sacks from the Council (better than my ..every litter bit helps... Tesco own brand ones!).
A buggy, a BBQ, a trainer, a pair of jeans, a credit card plus tons of beer cans were collected and safely disposed off! 11 whopping bags infact!
In 1 hour we litter-alley had cleared the alley!
Thanks again to Vinay from Neighbourhood services for the task and giving us a helping hand.
Well done to all our Super Saturday runners (including Kam who was busy marshaling at parkrun)
Our morning was finished off with Starbucks and french fancies at Baylis House (we ad ta twalk abit poshh ta get in where... lucky we ad Northern Lass Emily on da case - of beer) !
