Getting Brampton's telephone box red-dy!
4 GoodGymers made their way 1.0km to help their local community in Norwich.

You know you've caught the GoodGym bug when you're due to meet up for a GoodGym social and four or you decide to slip in an extra good deed on the way! The village telephone box in Brampton, close to our party venue, had been looking rather sorry for itself for several years so GoodGym decided to come to the rescue... Luckily the box had been sanded down and knowing that we would be turning up, the task owner Jon had helped out by taping up all the windows and giving it a lovely pink undercoat! After a quick 'how many GoodGym-ers can you fit in a phone box' moment, we got stuck into the task, helped in the heat by nice cold drinks supplied by Jon and a lady who wandered across the road with home-made elderflower cordial for us! Although we tried to be careful making sure the paint just went on the phone box, we knew we wouldn't notice if it didn't as it was the perfect match for our GoodGym tops! Another GoodGymer Elizabeth came to admire our handiwork and we then all set off for our GoodGym party, staying with the red theme by calling at Katy and Bill's allotment on the way to pick redcurrants. This was the first Community Mission for GoodGym Norwich but we're sure it won't be the last.....
