Gardening in the Rain
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Wednesday, 6th of March 2019
Myself and John cycled in the rain and arrived at Mr H's somewhat soggy. John had cleverly brought some large tools with him, strapped to his bike and I brought some smaller tools, including my 'famous' "Griffin Claw". Mr H has a very small garden patch so it didn't take long for us to deadhead, weed, dig in some new compost, get rid of the garden waste and rubbish and leave it looking a lot neater. The rain stopped and the sun came out only when we were finished and taking a selfie before departing!
