Slight change of plan to this evening’s task! Tonight, we were due to be doing some leafleting for Motherwell but due to a bit of a mix up, we found ourselves at the Wishing Well garden doing some mowing and weeding instead! :)) We were just happy to be outside in the nice weather.
Maurice and I started our evening with a brisk walk looping from Jubilee House down through the square and back up to Jubilee House. The town was quiet, but Maurice and I were not!! We chatted the whole way round. As always, we are never short of things to talk about!!
Once back at Wishing Well , we set to work on our task. Maurice put the mower into action and I set to work with the weeding tool and the rake. I think it’s fair to say that between us both, we did a fairly decent job of making the garden look better! It always surprises me how much we managed to achieve in such a short amount of time.
Well done Maurice on another fantastic task. You really are a legend!!
Lots of love
Nicola
