Two and a half tasks were completed on a Tuesday night that gave us Thunder, Lightning, Hail, Rain and Sun... The half was made up by Tom and I heading to a Lambeth Council meeting to introduce GoodGym to all the Lambeth parks managers to secure us some excellent tasks over the summer.... we sat on our bums and listened to a presentation about procurement for the most of it.
Alex took a group over to Stockwell to help Oasis Nature Garden with lots of jobs they had doing ahead of a film screening they have tonight. Once the tasks were done he also threw in an extra bit of running fore everyone.
The final group headed done to Sandmere Road where Guy at StreetScape had some work... James wrote a lovely poem. I will leave you with that.
"Lambeth ran eight hundred yards To get to the garden and work real hard
Guy was there with a load of dung I wonder if he is well... glad That goodgym ran to clear his pad
We shifted, barrowed, dug and ran We like to help out where we can
It hailed and rained and nearly snowed But the brave goodgymers were not bowed
The beds were dug and compost moved And once again our worth was proved".
